Wearable Art/Upcycled Jewelry

I am a recycle artist/reclamation engineer. My art is heavily influenced and draws inspiration directly from my experiences in Kenya- the animals, people, colors, birds and landscape. My goal in my art is to take something considered trash and to transform it into something beautiful. I am not bound to one particular form of art but consider the sky is the limit……. from bottle caps to recycled wool sweaters—I want to experience all of it!

Ãpeñ Bell Ýåsin --- Hi Karen I took the supplies to the school in Kiltamany and I gave it to the teachers so that they can distribute the supplies to the most needy students and that the hats were not only warm and cozy, but also each one was unique and beautifully crafted. The students were thrilled to receive them and couldn't wait to wear them to school and home.As soon as they put on the hats, their faces lit up with joy and excitement. The hats has different colors and designs, so each student was able to choose one that fit their personal style. The hats brought smiles to everyone's faces and will provide warmth on chilly days, but they also helped foster a sense of community and togetherness among the students. The students loved showing off their new hats and comparing them with each other it was a breath of fresh air to see something that was handmade with such care and attention to detail. The hats will serve as a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a big impact and bring joy to those in need.
